Semolina Saffron Cake | Kesar Rawa Cake
Preparation & Ingredients
- 2 Cup Rawa
- 1/2 Cup Clarified Butter/ Pure Ghee
- 1 Cup Sugar powder / Pithi Sakhar
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 Cup Buttermilk
- 1/4 Teaspoon Saffron
- 1 Teaspoon Cardamom powder/ elaichi powder Or 1 Teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 1 spoon Fruit salt
Recipe
Take a milk in cup make it hot & add Saffron sticks, the colour will change in 5 min. Keep in aside.
Take a large bowl, add Clarified Butter or Pure Ghee, whisk it, add Buttermilk & powdered sugar, whisk it Continental for 10 mins, add cardamom powder or vanilla essence, add Rawa whisk it & Saffron milk, fold it gently. Lastly add Fruit salt & fold it gently.
Preheat oven for 10 mins on 180 degrees.
Take a baking tray, coat with Clarified Butter/ Ghee, add the Rawa mixture, make it even by tapping. Keep it in the oven on 160 degrees for 30 mins. Check it with toothpicks, if it comes clear then it’s done. If it’s sticky heat it for more 10 mins & it’s ready.
Tip
You must check the cake every 10 mins .
Once it’s baked, keep it in the oven till it cools, then it’s well done. Once u take out , toggle it & take out in a serving dish, cut & eat with your dear once 😋😋🎂🍰
