Preparation & Ingredients for Dal Tadka
- 1 Cup Pigeon split Pulses ,wash & boil it in a pressure cooker, take out 4 whistles & churn it till its well mixed
- 1 Tomato cubed
- 2 Green Chillies split
- 1 Teaspoon Coarsely ground Ginger & Garlic each
- 2 Tablespoon Chopped Coriander
Recipe
Tadka – Take a pot, add 1 Tablespoon oil, make it hot, add 2 Green chillies add 1 Teaspoon Mustard seeds & Cumin seeds, once it splutters, add a pinch of Asafoetida, 1/2 Teaspoon Haldi, 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli powder, add the boiling dal, 1 Teaspoon Sugar & Salt each & 1 Cup water. Give a nice boil, take out in a serving bowl, garish with Coriander & ready to eat.
