Mix Vegetable Appe
Preparation & ingredients
- 1 Cup Rawa
- 1/2 Cup Udid dal
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 1 Teaspoon Eno / fruit salt
- 1 Teaspoons Green chillies ,Ginger & Garlic coarsely ground ( Mixed)
- 1 Tablespoon chopped carrots & Capsicum each
- 1 chopped Onions
- 1/2 cup chopped Coriander
- 1/2 Teaspoon Jeera
- 2 pinch Asafoitida
- 1 spoon Ajwain/ Annie seeds
Wash & soak Rawa & Udad dal overnight, next day ground it with little water. keep it for 6 to 8 hours for fermentation.
Next day it becomes fluffy & spongy, whisk it gently, add all the above ingredients. Mix well. Keep it for 5 minutes . Add Eno 5 mins before making it.

Take a Appe griddle/ Tawa, coat it with oil ( few drops) , take 1 spoon batter, pore it in each circle, cover it with lid, make it golden brown to both the sides, ready to serve.
