Preparation & Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Wheat flour
  • 1 Cup All purpose flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 3 Tablespoon Oil
  • 1 Cup Water

Take a bowl, add all the above ingredients one by one, add water slowly & start kneeding, make a semi soft dough, put some more oil & kneed for 5 minute continually. Make few ball for puran poli.

Recipe

Take a griddle
Make it hot.
Take a Atta ball, make it flat by 4″ add the Puran Ball, close it & make it flat, like tikki, put some flour & roll till 7 to 8″, Poli is ready to roast, put on the hot griddle on the medium heat. Roast it till golden brown, put Clarified butter/ Pure Ghee, take out on plate & ready to eat.
Puran Poli is ready.
