Preparation & Ingredients:
- 2 Cups grated fresh coconut
- 1 & 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1 gm saffron & half Cup milk (microwave it for 30 seconds)
- 1 Teaspoon Cardamom powder
- 2 Tablespoon Clarified butter
Recipe
Take a pan, make it hot, add Clarified butter/ghee, once it’s melts add grated coconut, roast it on slow flame for 10mins, add Sugar let it melt, then roast it till 10 mins, add saffron milk & Khoya or dry milk powder, one the mixture is dry, switch off the Gas. Take a plate put the mixture, make it even flat 1/2cms, cut the pieces into Diamond shape, let it dry, take out & serve. Eat the delicious Coconut Burfi & enjoy.
