Preparation & Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Chana Dal
  • 3/4 Cup Jaggery
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 spoon Cardemom powder with 1/2 spoon sugar ( easy to ground)
  • 8 to 10 slalks Saffron
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Pure Ghee

Recipe

1 Cup Gram / Chana dal, wash & pressure cooked with 4 whistles, take a water out & keep it aside.

Drain it, take a pot, make it hot, add ghee, once it’s melt put dal, Jaggery, salt, sugar, Cardamom powder, saffron, saute till its dry.

Puran is ready, eat with Pure Ghee, enjoy.
