Preparation & Ingredients
- 2 Cup Whole Wheat flour
- 1 Cup Chana Dal
- 3/4 Cup Jaggery
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 spoon Cardamom powder with 1/2 spoon sugar ( easy to ground)
- 8 to 10 slacks Saffron
- 1/2 Teaspoons Salt
- 2 Tablespoon Oil
- 1 Teaspoons Pure Ghee
- 1 Cup Water if needed put extra
For cover
Make a dough of wheat flour, oil, salt, same as Chapati.
Recipe
Stuffing
1 Cup Gram dal, wash, pressure cooked with 4 whistles, drain water out & keep it aside.
Drain it, take a pot, make it hot, add ghee, once it’s melt put dal, Jaggery, salt, sugar, Cardamom powder, saffron, saute till its dry. Make it cool, make Balls & keep it.
Make balls for cover from the dough, make it flat of 4 ” like Poori, put Stuffing, fold it & steam it for 15 mins, wishout whistle. Only steam. Take it out once its cold, eat with ghee, enjoy.
