- 1 Cup Basmati Rice, washed 3 to 4 time & drain it after 30 mins. Keep the water aside.
- 1 Cup Green Peas
- 15 Cashews
- 1 Tablespoon oil
- 1 Tablespoon Pure Ghee
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 pinch of Asafoetida
- 1″ Cinnamon
- 3 cloves
- 3 whole green Cardamom
- 2 Bay leaves dry
- 8 Black pepper Karnels
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Sugar
Recipe
Take a Small Tadka Pan, add oil, make it hot, fry Cashews & keep it aside.
Take a pan, heat it, add oil, add Cumin, Asafoetida, cinnamon, cloves , Cardamom, Bay leaves, Black pepper, saute for 1 min. Add Green peas saute for 2 mins. Add Rice & saute for 3 mins. Add 3 Cups water , salt & Sugar & Mix it well. Put a lid & cook for 15 to 20 mins on slow flame. Take out hot in a serving plate.
Garnish it with fried Cashews. Eat hot
