Batata Vada/Vada Pav

Preparations & Ingredients

  • 7 Potatoes, wash it, Boil it in a pressure cooker with 3 whistles, peel it, and break it unevenly.
  • 10 Green chillies, 8 pods of Garlic, 1&1/2″ Ginger, put it in a mixer & coarsely ground it.
  • 1 Cup Coriander
  • 20 leaves Curry leaves
  • 1& 1/2 spoon salt
  • 1 spoon Sugar

Seasoning

1 Tablespoons oil, make it hot, add, 1 spoon Mustard seeds, 2 pinch of Asafoetida , 1/2 spoon Haldi, add curry leaves, fry till dry add a Coriander mix it well, take out in a plate.

Take a large Bowl, put Potatoes, add season, add salt & sugar, 1 Lemon Juice, fold it gently.

Make little balls of 2 ” & flat it little. Like tikky.

Take a kadhai/Pan & put oil upto 3/4 of kadhai, heat it.

Take 2 Cups of Gram flour/Besan add 1 spoon salt, 1/2 spoon Haldi, add 1/2 cup water & make a smooth paste, add 2 Tablespoons of oil as Mohan in a batter, mix it well, add 1 spoon of fruit salt & Deep Batata vadas one by one, take it out & put on kadhai, fry till golden brown, take it out fast. The Batata Vada’s are ready.

Cut the pav, put Lasun Chutney, add Batata Vada & eat, it taste awesome 😋😋
