- 2 Cup washed & grated Cabbage
- 1 Cup Chopped Coriander
- 2 Cup Besan / Gram Flour
- 1 Cup Rice Flour
- 1 & 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 Teaspoon Sugar
- 3 Teaspoon Red Chilli powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Power
- 2 Teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 2 Teaspoon Sesame seeds
- 1 Teaspoon Ajwain
- 2 Pinch of Asafoetida
- 1 Teaspoon coarsely ground Ginger
- 1 Teaspoon coarsely ground Garlic
Recipe
Take a large bowl, add all the above ingredients one by one, mix well & kneed a dough, since Cabbage has a inbuilt water, no need to add water for binding. Make a stiff dough. Make 6 equal cylinders of this Cabbage dough.
Take a pressure cooker, take a steel utensil of the pressure cooker, apply oil, put 2 or 3 Cabbage cylinders & put a lid without whistles. Steam it for 15 mins, take out in a plate to cool. Put another batch of the Cabbage cylinders & repeat it.
Now all the 6 Cabbage cylinders are ready. Cut into the thin slices as a 1/2 cm & fry it in the oil. Till golden brown, ready to serve & Eatππ
