Preparation for Idli Dhokla
1 Cup Besan
3/4 Cup Water / Pani
2 pinch Fruit Salt / Eno
1/2 spoon salt
3 Tab spoons chopped Coriander to Garnish/ Sajawanyasathi chirleli Kothimbir
For Seasoning
2 spoon oil
2 pinch Asafoetida/ Hing
1 spoon Mustard seeds/ Mohori
1/2 spoon Turmeric powder
Recipe
Take a besan in a pot. Mix salt & add water, make a Batter like bhajiya/ Pakoda, add a fruits salt, mix it gently. Immediately pour this in a cooker in idli stand but coat a little oil to it before putting Batter.
In a cooker add 2 cups water & put this Batter in idli stand & cover it with cooker lid without whistle/ cooker cha zhakan lava pan shitti lau naka.
Put it on the gas stove & steam it for 15 mins, first 5 min on high flame & next 10 mins on medium flame. Switch off the gas.let the steam settle, make it little look & take out, pour a seasoning on the dhokla & garnish with coriander, ready to serve & eat
Green Chutney
Preparations & ingredients
1 Cup Coriander chopped
1/2 Cup Pudhina/ Mint leaves
1 ” Ginger chopped
1 small spoon salt
1 spoon sugar
1 spoon Jeera
1 spoon Dale/ Roasted gram or roasted chana
1/2 lemon juice
Recipe
Put all the above ingredients in a mixer & 1/4 Cup water, grind it till it becomes coarsely or smooth as per your taste. Serve with hot Poori’s & ready to eat.
Masala Tea
Preparations & ingredients
2 Cup Water
2 Cup Milk
2 Tablespoons Masala Tea
4 spoons Sugar
Recipe
Boil it till it becomes Tea color, strain it & ready to serve & drink.
