Preparation & Ingredients
- 2 Cup washed & finely Chopped Coriander
- 2 Cup Gram Flour, Besan
- 2 Teaspoon Red Chilli powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 2 pinch Asafoetida
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 1 Teaspoon Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin & Coriander powder each
- 2 Teaspoon Green chillies coarsely ground/ approximately 4 to 5 (as per your taste)
- 1 Tablespoon Ginger & Garlic paste (for prasad or Naivedya/Upwas or Fasting avoid Garlic)
- Mix all the ingredients in one large bowl, add 2 Cups water, mix it well, it should be a thick batter like dosa.
Recipe
Take a pan & heat it, add 2 Tablespoon oil, add the above batter & keep stirring till it becomes semi solid, like loose upma. Give one steam for 2 mins with covered lid.
Take a large plate, coat it with oil, put the above mixture in it, spread it fast & make it flat with spatula, make it cool, cut the Vadis in diamon or square shapes.
Take a Kadhai, heat it. Put a oil for frying once it hot, put 4 to 5 Kothimbir Vadis & fry till golden brown, take out on a kitchen paper towel, serve hot with chutney, enjoy eating.
