Preparations & ingredients
- 1 Kg Pohe (Thin), roasted to get crunchy
- 100 gms Peanuts
- 100 gms Cashews (optional)
- 50 Gms Roasted Chana/Dale
- 1/2 Cup dry Coconut chips/khobryache kaap
- 1/2 Cup Oil
- 12 green chillies chopped (depends on the spice)
- 15 /20 Curry leaves/Kadhipatta
- 1 Tablespoons Mustard seeds/Mohori
- 1 Tablespoons Cumin/Jeera
- 1 Teaspoon White Sesame seeds/Til
- 1/2 Teaspoon Asafoitida/Hing
- 1 spoon Turmeric powder/Haldi
- 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli powder (As per your taste)
- 1 & 1/2 spoon salt (As per your taste)
- 2 Tablespoon sugar (As per your taste)
Recipe
Take a large utensil heat it, put oil & add seasoning/Phodni ingredients one by one, add peanuts, cashews, rosted chanas & dry coconut chips, fry them for 2 mins on slow flame, add poha fry roast again & Salt, Sugar & Red Chilli & toss it for 5 mins on slow flame, it becomes crispy, take out from gas ,Ready to eat.
Please note: Let it cool completely to a normal temperature & then put in a storage container or Dabba, orelse it will get soggy.
