- 1 Cup Rice
- 1/4 Cup Yellow Lentils/Moong dal
- 1″ Ginger/Lasun chopped
- 8 Curry leaves/Kadhipatta
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Asafoetida/Hing
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- Seasoning / Tadka
- 1 Tablespoon Clarified Butter/Ghee
- 10 PCs Cashews (broken)
- 10 Black pepper
Recipe
Wash rice & Lentils, mix all the above ingredients & put it in a pressure cooker put 4 Cups water, take out 4 whistles, once the rice is done, pour a Tampering on that fold it gently. Take out in a serving bowl, garnish with grated coconut & chopped coriander, ready to serve & eat.
