  • 1 Cup Rice
  • 1/4 Cup Yellow Lentils/Moong dal
  • 1″ Ginger/Lasun chopped
  • 8 Curry leaves/Kadhipatta
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Asafoetida/Hing
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • Seasoning / Tadka
  • 1 Tablespoon Clarified Butter/Ghee
  • 10 PCs Cashews (broken)
  • 10 Black pepper

Recipe

Wash rice & Lentils, mix all the above ingredients & put it in a pressure cooker put 4 Cups water, take out 4 whistles, once the rice is done, pour a Tampering on that fold it gently. Take out in a serving bowl, garnish with grated coconut & chopped coriander, ready to serve & eat.
