Sabudana Vada | Sagoo

On the auspicious day of Sankashti Chaturthi, made Sabudana Vada/Sagoo

Preparation & Ingredients

  • 2 Cup Sabudana/Sagoo seeds, washed, soaked in water for 5 mins & take out the water, keep it for overnight to raise till morning, it becomes fluffy.
  • 2 / 3 Boiled Potatoes, Peeled & mashed
  • 1/2 Cup roasted ground nut powder
  • 1 & 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Teaspoon Cumin seeds/ Jeera
  • 5 coarsely ground Green Chillies
  • 1″ coarsely ground Ginger
  • 2 Teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 2 Teaspoon Sugar

Mix all the ingredients & make a dough. Make 20 balls & make it flat on a plastic sheet, damp a little water before.

Take a pan, add oil for frying till half, make it hot, put vada’s one by one, fry till golden brown, serve with

Coconut chutney or Curds, enjoy eating hot 😄😄
