Ingredients & Preparation
- 1 Cup Rawa/Simolina
- 1 Tablespoon Cashews & Peanuts Each
- 1 Tablespoon Pure Ghee
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- 1 Chopped Tomato
- 2 Chopped Onions
- 2 Tomato Puree
- 10 Kadhipatta/Curry leaves
- 5 Green chillies
- 1 Teaspoon Each
- Udad dal/Chana dal/Mustered seeds/Cumin/Salt & Sugar (all this 1 Teaspoon)
- A pinch of Asafoetida
- 1/2 Teaspoon Haldi/Turmeric & Red Chilli powder each
- 1/4 Cup chopped Coriander
- 2 Tablespoon Grated coconut
- 1/2 Lemon
- 3 Cup water
Recipe:
Take a pot, add pure ghee, heat it, once it melts, add Rawa, roasted for 5 mins in low medium flame till the ghee is coated. Take out in a plate
In the same pot add oil, heat it, add all the above masala ingredients & saute it. Then add Cashews & Peanuts, roast it, add Onions & Tomato saute for 2 mins, add roasted rawa & water, make it smooth, add Tomato paste add salt, sugar, lemon juice & cook for 5 mins. With covered lid. One it solid but smooth, take out in serving plate garnish with a Coriander, Coconut & few nuts, enjoy eating hot with Chai or coffee with your family & friends 😊😊
