Tomato Soup

Preparations & ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Tomatoes cubed
  • 1 Carrot cubed
  • 1 onion cubed
  • 1″ Ginger chopped
  • 1 spoon salt & sugar each

Take all the above ingredients, add 6 Cups water & make 2 whistles in pressure cooker. Take out a drain it with large coriander, make it cool.

Put the mixture in a mixer & ground it till smooth paste.

Take large pan, put remaining water which a separated while draining (Tomato water) & add tomato paste, boil it for 10 mins on slow flame. Add 1 spoon Butter & 1/2 spoon black pepper.

Please note:

  1. To make it more rich you may add little fresh cream.
  2. To make it more thick add 1 spoon of Corn flour or 1 potato.

Serve hot with Bread Sticks & croutons (available in supermarkets) & enjoy.
