Jaggery Sheera made for Naivedya Prasad

Preparation & Ingredients

  • 2 Cup Semolina / Rawa
  • 1& 1/2 Cup Jaggery powder or grated
  • 2 Tablespoons Clarified Butter/ Sajuk Tup / Pure Ghee
  • 1 Teaspoon Cardamom powder/ Velchi/ Elaichi Powder
  • 1 Pinch of Saffron/ Keshar
  • 1 Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 Cup Raisins
  • 1/4 Cup Milk / Dudh ( room temperature)
  • 3 Cup water

Optional- Dry fruit Masala

Recipe
Take a large pot, make it hot, put Clarified Butter/ Ghee, once it melts add semolina & keep roasting for 5 minutes on medium flame. Once it golden brown, put water, keep saute it till it become smooth, avoid forming lumps, add Jaggery & saute it, Fold it gently, give one steam with lid. After 2 mins, while this put Saffron in hot milk for 30 seconds to 1 min in microwave, take out a lid from semolina, add Saffron milk, cardamom powder, salt, raisins & dry fruit masala, keep stirring, again put a lid & give a steam for 5 mins. One it becomes near to solid, switch off the gas, take it on a serving bowl or plate, garnish it with saffron sticks or dry fruit ( as per your taste) . Eat with your dear once & enjoy 😋😋

Tip – Ghee, Dry fruit, Sugar can be varied as per your taste, happy cooking & enjoy culinary 😍👍
